Talked myself into taking a walk down to our community center because I remembered we had a gravel walking path around the field. Um. It used to be. It's in serious need of an upgrade. On the bright side, I found $5 on the sidewalk on the way home.

I think tonight was the easiest I've ever gotten my dog to hold still for a vaccine. Usually I have to poke him like 8 times because he won't stop moving and panicking. Now he's pouting.

I'm definitely enjoying this game. I do wish they'd introduce a Pokemon Go-like aspect of being able to join hunts with friends who AREN'T nearby. We could battle a Pokemon remotely. Maybe later on they'll add it.

My nerdy heart is happy. I had found out a while ago that "space mom" Gates McFadden, who played Beverly Crusher on TNG, has her own online store where she sells her personal memorabilia from her collection to go toward theater projects. Couldn't resist.

Is anyone playing Monster Hunter Now? I just started to see what it's all about. I was really into Pokemon Go for a while, but I like that this one is more of a Monster Hunter light and on the go without me wanting to throw a controller across the room.

I finished A Bridge to the Starry Skies today. Pretty cute harem anime. It's a good palette cleanser if you usually watch more serious ones.

It amuses me greatly that the same person who voices Hondo in The Clone Wars.. also voices Winnie the Pooh. Good ol' Jim Cummings.

McGee is getting so big! I should have weighed him more recently. He was only around 2 pounds when I got him.

Going back to the beginning of The Clone Wars again. I've never finished it and I keep meaning to.

Just a brief one today. Finished Lamb, by Christopher Moore, yesterday and started The Martian, by Andy Weir, today.

My friend is throwing herself a Warped Tour themed 30th birthday party next month. Emo attire is mandatory. I'm so excited. I never got to embrace the hair, makeup and clothing trends back then because my parents wouldn't let me dye my hair or do anything crazy. Adult me is buying a black and red wig and digging out anything I have leftover from the early 2000s.

Another lunch break session. Clocked another 25 minutes and change. Lamb is such a fun book and everyone should read it.

Since when do Jehovah's Witnesses send you mail instead of knocking? This seems like a lot of work.
