“Seattle without salmon is not a great future”

omg, climate change is warming Lake Washington so much it’s killing the salmon

When crops & cattle start dying in large numbers will people change?

When humans start dying in large numbers will people change?

When only the wealthy are left will they change?

@The_USA_Singers LOL--yes. All prosecutions of me must stop immediately! Also--everyone should give me $1,000!

@1anniem oof, that is biting. Luckovich always comes through.

@Clavius_42 the movie version of WWDITS is pretty hilarious also. Different cast of characters in that though.

@mchristian having trouble parsing this--did you maybe leave off a word?

it is pretty nice being able to see what temp it's up to from my phone...

ye gods--the new pellet grill is wifi enabled and downloaded a software update.

@elbutterfield yeah, it shocks me every time he wins a state primary. That party is just irredeemable at this point. "Basket of deplorables" was too generous.

@kismatt we definitely considered it. But we would have had to heave it up almost a whole flight of stairs, which was a non-starter.

That thing would have Indiana Jones'd us for sure.

Squishy and muddy and mossy. Ugh what a mess. Wife, daughter & I all lifted/dragged/wheeled it to finally get it in place.

DW: "They're going to have to bury us in this thing." Too right. I don't know how long it will last, but I do not think we have another one of these in us...

I thought I'd unbox it in the garage & move it in pieces to the back deck & assemble it there--nothing doing. It actually comes mostly assembled, so the only thing I could do is assemble it in my garage, and then wheel it around to the back yard to heave it up on the deck.

Those of you in the Pacific NW US may appreciate that this time of year, our "lawn" (such as it is) is--squishy.
