I'm seeing a bunch of posts that seem to be replying to other posts, but not actually linked to them (that I can see).
I wonder if that's b/c of people blocking or muting me?
@rpardee possibly. It happens to me as well.
@rpardee You're neither muted nor blocked by me! Not sure what's up.
if thereโs no handle itโs operator error
i saw one earlier where the intended party was not actually mentioned, is that what you mean? @rpardee
@Armchaircouch nope--it's the opposite--I see a handle & then a post like e.g. "oh yeah that's right" but no linked to the post that had whatever it is "that's right".
@rpardee If you can't see the post they're replying to, either you are blocked by the OP or you have muted or blocked the OP yourself.
If they had just muted you, you'd still be able to read their post.
Oh. Option three is they're posting to followers-only and it's someone you're not following.
@rpardee I believe so yes.
So if you see someones @ tag and someone else responded to it, it means that the first person has you blocked.
@rpardee If a thread is broken, because of a privacy setting being different (from open to private) you can click on the user's name and go to their middle column and see how a conversation started, etc. If you click on the users handle and everything is greyed out, you are blocked. Hopefully that makes sense.
@rpardee I see your question was answered. I just want you to know that Iโm still here my townie friend.

@Knitpurrl heh--thanks! It's good to know...
All is good from here ๐
@rpardee Click the person they are replying to. If it says profile unavailable at the bottom that person has you blocked. You can't see a mute because that just means they didn't block you but are ignoring you so they won't automatically see your posts. It's possible someone just tagged someone with a comment instead of replied to their post.
@rpardee
Most likely you need to hit the ... and Expand this status
That opens up the entire thread
@rpardee not muted or blocked here
