Stranded in Port Angeles with two shredded tires. Les Schwab has nothing that will fit the car
The good news is that Les Schwab has figured out where to get the actual tires the car came with. The bad news is that the only place what has them is the dealer down in Tacoma, and there's no way for them to deliver to Schwab. So I'm going to have to schlep down to Tacoma then bring them to Port Angeles myself, for a round-trip distance of 213 miles.
If you trust google maps anyway.
Which I no longer do.
All right--the schlepping of the tires is done. Portia (our volvo) is again road-worthy & now safely back home.
@rpardee The lazy bums just want to sell new tires -- what ever happened to making the customer satisfied?
