Same. My Algebra II teacher said that he and some other teachers were attempting to change the system but weren't getting very far because their ideas were considered radical back then. There have been some changes made quietly in a movement which began informally then spread.

@KathyV The author should have known better. Voiceover work and reading for audiobooks is more difficult and competitive than it might appear. There are even some long time on-air radio people who have been surprised when they were unable to get work in that field.

California cities also have significant numbers of urban rats, opossum, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats roaming close to the very large and growing population of homeless.
