@researchagain Rats are all pervasive in that city. This will put many - especially the poor - at constant risk of exposure. We need to find and vaccinate an army of cats to eliminate the problem!

@BlueStateBabe Frightening on many levels. I remember reading something about it crossing over to cats around a year and 1/2 ago.
California cities also have significant numbers of urban rats, opossum, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats roaming close to the very large and growing population of homeless.
