Looks like air quality in the bay area isn't so great right now.

I have distilled my Halloween evening down to its essence.

So this is a first: I just received an Amazon order in one of those bubble envelope, except the envelope was empty and had a large tear on the side, so I can guess what happened...
Thankfully Amazon is sending a replacement.

I guess I was too far from the earthquake to feel anything.

I'm drinking beer that's 5 years past its expiration date, and it's not so bad.
Also possibly, my taste in beers may not be so refined.

Amazing how many networking problems are solved by unplugging a router and plugging it back in. I hate doing that for any device, but hey, it works.

Amazon keeps filling my inbox with ads for things I've already bought: how many melon ballers do they think I need? 🤔

What started out as just adding an SSD to my computer ended up with having to turn it off for the last couple of days because 2 of the 3 fans had stopped working and the cpu was overheating.
I've replaced the fans, and everything seems to be working now. 👍

I did just enough coding this morning to launch some jobs and let the computer do all the hard work from here on out.
Now I can lounge under the trees in my backyard and do other stuff.

A bit warm for October today. Probably the last of the heatwaves for the year... probably.
