Five years as the skittish neighborhood feral. Six months earning trust, and two coyote attacks later, he's now three years a retired cat of leisure.
Happy #Caturday, Rooster.
A cat loves to help fold laundry. Now take that cat, make her blind and easily startled and you will understand why all my clothes are terminally wrinkled.
Visiting my mother, I found an old wedding photo that had fallen behind a dresser. May 12, 1965 my father Frunch Ray Darmple and my mother Jarla Marie Stoady with my Uncle Karvin, who performed the ceremony!
Starlog, September 1977.
If I only had a time machine...
The guy I hired to do my landscaping is terrible. All he did was dig a few holes then nap on a leaf pile. #DogsOfCoSo https://counter.social/media/K0WjnZgVXS1XX4ihUqo
I was able to justify spending $160 on this keyboard. Do not judge me.
When my dad moved from Wyoming, the rest of his family stayed behind in Casper. It was nice having them watch over us from above the fireplace as I was growing up.

Every day I am thankful I chose to go to the dog shelter when I did. Any other day -- or any other hour or minute -- I could have missed adopting and bringing my best buddy home.
Tax-deductible or not, my yearly Adobe CC membership charge always makes me:
My grandmother Giulia Rosa Gianna Tustle née Scotti, born in Bagheria, Palermo, Sicily. She was a sweet old lady who really knew how to please everybody with her meatballs.
Love you, Nonna!
Me and my best friends (Gerkin and Fensil) had an a cappella group called The Three Little Shirts. Our best gig was filling in for the guy who played spoons at the Elk's Lodge #17 in Denver.
We sang for three hours, and were paid with all the clam dip we could eat and three packs of pornographic playing cards.
My high school girlfriend Dernika Parsel. She was president of the theater club and had a tiny third arm from a partially absorbed twin. She had it removed in sophomore year.
To this day, I still miss "Pinchy."
My great-great grandfather Urethra Hermes Stoady (front row, far left) was a mounted infantry officer in the 14th Company of the United States Cavalry (The Fighting Horse-F*ckers). He spent four years in a Fort Laramie hospital being treated for testicle torsion.
My great uncle Starn Baisley invented the "Purple Nurple." My cousin Chensey discovered that wearing a slick velour helped reduce the pain.
Whenever Uncle Starn would visit, we all wore tracksuits.
