Recent routine blood work revealed that I have a low lymphocyte count. I contacted my oncologists to see if this could still be caused by radiation. Radiation oncologist called me today to say it couldn't. He said maybe it is nothing but he is still referring me to *hematology*.
Hello CoSo, I am gingerly dipping my toe here again. I needed a break to deal w my feelings of isolation because friends didn't see what I posted at one point and I got no response. And then our kitten died and I most definitely didn't want to say too much or be here too much because grief-posting with no responses is not something I am strong enough for. No clue what y'all have been up to in the last few weeks - just wanted to say I haven't left forever.
I have reached the point in my depression that even a very good bellydance class didn't vanquish it tonight, not even for the hour the class lasted.
Friends, #Smoothie was hospitalized last night, with a suspicion of FIP.

@MidnightRider yes, I think it is about appearance for her. But I think the bigger idea is that we value people differently for very superficial and unfair reasons. Call it implicit bias or subconscious judgement, it’s something I want to bring to my awareness.
