Old Fashioned ordered at 4:30 because retina doc no longer sure he can protect optic nerves and referring me to glaucoma specialist. While at bar w drink + food, got rejected for job I interviewed for AND our mayor did NOT nominate queer pastor to Library Board. Then pharmacy said cardiologist didn't do prior auth for meds, so now I have to buy 4 pills for $56 to tide me over and keep ticker in rhythm. I. Just. Fucking. Cannot. Any. Longer.

Retina dog prescribed a new glaucoma drop - the kind that makes your eyelashes grow. This is his last ditch effort to control my glaucoma, but he thinks this will increase the swelling of the macula. They will literally start cutting the lashes on my left eye. My eyelashes are a beautiful genetic gift from my late Dad and they are about to get uneven and butchered and fucked. And this development less than a week before Dad's death anniversary.
