Campaigns against assisted dying that claim to be led by healthcare workers and disabled people are being secretly coordinated and paid for by conservative Christian pressure groups, an Observer investigation has found.

No surprise. They want to control our births and death. Fuck em
@process
Seriously?
Man.
From the article: “They’re giving this false impression that they are someone they’re not,”
Isn't that, you know, lying? Which is sort of frowned upon in Christianity, technically speaking? 🙄
@janallmac @process I think that "judge not" bit is underrated, too
@process oddly enough the health care pros here have long since been supportive of maid - medical assistance in dying. it's the law of the land now. you and your docs make that decision. not the state.
that being said, boy, do the christians hate it & are constantly trying to combat it. we have a number of catholic run hospitals. they won't allow it.
where's the compassion they purport to bestow? they're motherfucking cunts. i really have no patience for their bs.
@process medical assistance in death is something we have at present in Ontario. I hope if l ever need it, that it's still available
( and people wonder why l hate organized religion)
