Thought I'd take a walk along the river Lagan this morning. Crisp, frosty.
It's considered a sanctuary for nature within Belfast. An "area of outstanding beauty"
I've had many a walk on stretches of it and it can be beautiful.
Today made me sad. Like perverse fairy trees with offerings to the gods of plastic and convenience.
Is that the river from My Lagan Love???
@process 😢 I get that same feeling here in ABQ walking in the bosque along the river. But at least now I can call them “perverse fairy trees with offerings to the gods of plastic and convenience” and sadly chuckle.
