@prairiecelt A cult was involved. Several cults.
@prairiecelt He didn’t. He found Σίμον, whom He later named, «Πέτρος», ´Ιωάννες, Ιάκοβος, Μαθθαĩos, ´Ανδρέας, Φίλιππος, Θομάς, and… Σίμον (the Zealot, presumably?). But that’s just Alexandrian Greek, which was kind of like the English of its day. I don’t know how it was spelled in Aramaic, which was more closely related to Hebrew. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to get the tilde correct on Thomas. Apologies.
@chaddus2_0 @prairiecelt that’s impressive!!
@prairiecelt Names were changed to protect the innocent?? 😆
@prairiecelt
Great question.
How is it possible?
All white guy names.
