Well, it finally happened. My uncle commented on a post I made a couple of hours ago on Facebook, telling me how much he despises me. This is the uncle who is a transphobe and threatened to slap me and disown me during the last election.
@Avidspark I live in Colorado. He lives in California.
I'm in Northern CO. Let me know if you need my muscles for anything. My mouth is worse ๐คฌ
@PussyFootingAround @Avidspark I could definitely use a hug.
@postal_poet @PussyFootingAround *sending virtual hug* ๐ซ
@PussyFootingAround @Avidspark thank you so much.
Hugs are free. No thanks needed. Let me know when you are feeling down.
@postal_poet @PussyFootingAround I needed one every bit as much as you ๐ฅฐ

Somebody said they needed a hug? Here! Have a hug and a truckload of affirmation that you are valuable and valued, loved, and what is more, *liked*
@postal_poet At least one of us here at CoSo loves you
@postal_poet You don't need that shit. Block him and forget about his bigoted ass.
@postal_poet Ugh. The one good thing about FB compared to real life is that you don't have to listen to that shit. Unfriend him, block him, and send him a message saying, "Since you despise me so much I just made it easier for you to never have to look at me again."
I have a person in my family I cut out 20+ years ago, and I have zero regrets. Family may be blood, but REAL family doesn't hurt you, they support you and accept you. Surround yourself with those people. ๐
@postal_poet it's difficult to do, but let it go and unfriend him...you don't have to allow hate into your life even if it's a family member
@postal_poet Can't choose your family, but at least you can move away
