"I'm not gonna lie" is something I'm hearing everywhere. It's a filler now in place of "like" "you know" or "um."
It's making it more difficult to know if it's a tell for lying.

If you've ever lost your spouse, children, house, friends, job, reputation, and (briefly) freedom at one time, it gives perspective. Better able to roll with things when they come along.
I just finished a yummy either pizza or tostada depending on your point of view on flat, circular bread substance.
When I'm in turmoil I try to keep a list of things in mind for which I thank God. Hard to be thankful and bitter at the same time.
