I will just barely be in the path of totality for the April 8th solar eclipse.
If you haven't seen a total eclipse yet, I suggest that you do! Someone described it as a "hole in the universe", and that's pretty much what it felt like to me. It completely defies our expectations of how the sky behaves, and makes total sense that ancient people freaked out when they saw them.
