If you haven't seen a total eclipse yet, I suggest that you do! Someone described it as a "hole in the universe", and that's pretty much what it felt like to me. It completely defies our expectations of how the sky behaves, and makes total sense that ancient people freaked out when they saw them.
@Ubiety Amazingly we were also in the path of the August 2017 eclipse. That was my first one.
