A small number of active posters have an outsized impact on the community as a whole.

For a long time, I was the only openly trans person who was actively posting here. Now, there are a bunch of us. Still a small number overall but I feel less pressure to accurately represent what it means to be trans.

I hope we reach a similar point with other minorities here.

But right now, each of us--no matter who we are--has a significant impact on the community.
