Well, that was educafrustrational. Been fucking with Firefox on the new OS all day, trying to bring over my settings from the borked OS drive. (yeah I hate Sync.) At one point I figured out how to bring over my most recent bookmarks, was still trying to get the tabs to come back. Did some tinkering, and broke the FF profile. Fixed that and moved files over again, and upon launch.. huzzah! all tabs populated, bookmarks, extensions.. whew. Learning is fun! *drops bowling ball on crotch*
@blackknight95857669 I'm currently running Mint. Not familiar with Garuda. I've heard of Arch. Hope things get straightened out.
@poemblaze I'm getting there. I've run Mint for about a decade now. I was thinking about moving to Arch/Arch based but not like this, lol. I like to window shop, test things out, not "oh hell I need to install something right now because everything just broke as hard as it possibly could".
So far I'm liking the Arch tho. It's making me scratch my head a lot, but I've always been good at figuring things out/finding answers online, so it's coming along decently.
@poemblaze Garuda, Arch based Linux. I was running Mint before. Still not sure what happened to that, I rebooted yesterday and it went into a fatal error boot loop, failed to show proper splash screen and never made it to login screen. Pretty much unresponsive, even recovery mode did the same thing.
