The haunted house job pays as well or better than costuming/wardrobe film work and involves infinitely less stress so this is a big win.

When I was a kid I went to a haunted house in town and was SURE nothing would scare me.
I'd never seen a strobe light before and someone in costume jumped down from a height with a strobe effect in an otherwise dark room. I totally freaked out. 😳🤦
