I like seeing friendships. Friends are the family you choose. They forge those connections that empower our families, our tribes, our communities.

I especially like friendships that happen between species. When dogs and cats are friends with humans, and with one another. When wolves and ravens become pals. It makes me feel like greater connections are being made. Greater lessons learned in befriending those who aren't like you.
