@normsmusic It’s so much worse when there are only 12 of a thing. Microtonal is the only music with a future if things keep going this way.

I don't believe the premise of this article. It is more likely Fox wants those suing them to believe they have eliminated the problem of why they paid out so much and would not be inclined to do so in future law suites. nytimes.com/2023/05/02/busines

I dumped cable news 10+ years ago. The talking heads, of both parties, were obnoxious. I have no idea how anyone listens to them today.

Brain rot.

@normsmusic This was my take on this whole situation. You can't own 'chords' In fact, if you make a physical object, changing the size, or the sizes of different aspects is enough to need a new copyright. Otherwise it's completely inane and there will be no new music.

Imagine a painter in their studio, preparing for an exhibition. The painter is working on a landscape. The sky is midnight blue. The valley is Kelly green. Mountains loom in the back, a spectacular hue reflecting off a brilliant sunset. The painter reaches for vermillion and then pauses. Wait a second, they think: Does someone own the copyright to this shade of red? Am I going to get sued for this?

But the gravitational pull of galaxy clusters and dark matter—the metropolises of the universe—tweak, twist, and wiggle that relic radiation. This phenomenon is called gravitational lensing, and for anyone looking through a telescope, it creates a distorted picture of the cosmos. Yet it presents a boon for astrophysicists, because those distortions are actually clues about how the universe developed after its infant years.

Why didn't Republicans cry out "Rape" When Trump first grabbed them by their pussies, and then penetrated them. The GOP America is looking more like Trumpstein Island where our children continue to be raped by Republicans all the way up to the SCOTUS.

The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald

Gordon Lightfoot RIP

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they called Gitche Gumee
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy
With a load of iron ore twenty-six thousand tons more
Than the Edmund Fitzgerald weighed empty
That good ship and true was a bone to be chewed
When the gales of November came early

What you need to know besides only 17% The most important message we’re trying to send out now is that for those of us who were early adopters of the bivalent vaccine, it may be time for a second bivalent booster. The previous boosters for mRNA are not holding up as well after six months as far as protection against severe illness and hospitalization. houstonchronicle.com/lifestyle
