Does anyone use this site and if you do tell me why you like it.
@Valkyrie_D How many people respond to you posts less than 5 average or more?
@normsmusic I rarely post. I honestly don’t keep track of who likes or comments on the posts I do make, but I do find that the interaction I do receive is meaningful.
@Valkyrie_D yes, agree with all of Val's comments.
@normsmusic
@normsmusic take a look around - you'll see your own answer!
@duglop When I look around I see very few posts of others getting responses to their posts besides Onsesy and Twosey. Compared to all the other social posts.
@normsmusic and do you see any annoying ads? Do you know you can have conference video calls? Share files? Meet in virtual rooms? Watch videos/movies together?
@duglop Thanks. I think you're describing this site as going to a movie together or concerts or social gathering rather than a large interactive base,
@normsmusic it's ALL that and more!
Social gathering = INTERACTIVE BASE!
@normsmusic next time be a little more specific - because to me, that's exactly what #CoSo is!
@duglop I am on 8 other social media sites and this has the lowest testosterone or sperm count as a metaphor for people responding to idea posts. I get that this is a safe feel good site. Thanks for sharing
@normsmusic I mean we follow each other, you've been here a while - you know these things bro!
@normsmusic please don't take anything I said negatively - wasn't my intention :)
There's only about 167,000 of us with active accounts in total. Some fraction of those are dormant. Also, most of us sleep at least part of the time.
If reply counts are what matters to you, there are other places that will give you that.
If reply quality matters to you, look no further.
@ceorl @normsmusic the engagement here is generally either fun based, or fact filled - some threads go on and on and on - depending on the seriousness or funny business in progress - I've started some long threads just with a stupid goofy comment lol :)
Don't forget the supportive uplifting ones as well :)
@ceorl @normsmusic and I sure don't take that for granted because I was welcomed with open arms and when I saw other people joining in the fun I decided I wanted to go pro to be a part of that interaction, and I simply want others to join in the more the merrier
@duglop @normsmusic
Same story for me. I know good when I see it, and when I do I jump! (towards it that is) :)
@normsmusic
If you read my pinned posts for new nauts, you'll see what my thoughts were over my first year here.👍 😉
@normsmusic I like it here because it's easy to spot/watch splats of people who are here only to cause issues.... that there are genuine people here sharing and caring and being courteous to others..... because of the art, conversation and life and personal growth I've seen in myself and others coming to a place that doesn't put up with bs .... and how patient J is even in the most trying situations....
@normsmusic
Remember the scale is 100k not millions.
What you don't see are likes.
What you also don't see is the need for tons of responses, ratherquality exchanges with real people.
Watch for interest or senses of humor you like join in a thread.
Algorithms to get groupies doesn't exist.
Anger rants typically meet with soothing vs rousing the village.
It's like a coffee shop or dining room table vs march against ....
That is what I curate with friends column.
You curate anything u like.
@normsmusic I use Counter Social because it is nice.
• I learn things from others who post, or who reply to my post.
• Everyone has a good sense of humor.
• I enjoy the Jester's content.
I've been here since it opened, might have been "Oct 2017," with no regrets. It's been a nice experience.
@normsmusic I love the community. The people, here, feel like family to me 💕 I also appreciate that this platform has a zero-tolerance stance to hostile nations, bot accounts, trolls and disinformation networks. I feel safer , here, than on any other platform.
