As a once Catholic and now atheist I have always wanted to believe. But the party that claims to be god-fearing Christians have taken up the mantle of hate and praying to the false god of guns. God is not listening as our children die of gun violence as the number one cause of death. If there is a god let him smite those that wear their religion on their sleeve but not in their heart.
