This is sound advice, and while I don't tend to advocate the use of drugs (and ethanol is a drug), a glass of wine & a hot bath can do wonders, as well.

If you're in the US or - even worse - in the #DMV - I'm personal friends with the guy behind https://dirtboxradio.com/ - and he's got some seriously tight stuff going. Haven't checked if Dirty Thursdays is still A Thing (he's got a very full plate IRL), but totally give their stuff a whirl. Hooligan remains a fave mixer of mine.

Yeah, that did NOT last long; they're already hassling me for their midnight snack as HEAVENS FORBID they go more than 5-6 hours without cat fewd 🙄🙀

Please keep in mind that blast injuries are not confined to the battlefield (or blast radius) - they should be considered for any victim exposed to an explosive force. And this includes PTSD (even for those well outside the destructive radius).

PTSD is nothing to be ashamed of: for those of us who have...to put this delicately, "on the wrong side of the gun"/having been shot at...it's traumatic. There's no shame in that.

Yeah, as the #GOP gets an increasing amount of control, you can expect to see more of that. Civil War 2.0 will be one of insurgency. Not like I'm a genius for seeing that: it's super-obvious.
