i'm not at all upset or angry with most Russian people, the average person in Russia emphatically does NOT want this war, and hundreds have already been arrested, imprisoned, beaten, lost jobs, been suspended from Uni, etc., just for protesting publicly against it!

just a couple of people in my MIL's family, but still it's another major disaster that no one had any notice or control over. The hardships will be lasting and in some cases devastating. some of the businesses in those areas had struggled so hard to stay open or reopen and now have literally nothing but a $1000 AUD/adult recompense in disaster relief to fall back on,--just like their employees. so yea it's going to be hell for thousands of people.

Today was the day the Google machine shows us having passed 925K Americans dead due COVID-19. That's equivalent to wiping Fort Worth, TX completely off the map. That's yet another 25K people dead in about 12 days.
This is despite vaccines that are incredibly safe, and effective, and available to even more people now.
1) Get your vaccine/booster, if it's time.
2) Wear a ducking mask.
3) Wash your damn hands.
4) Punch an antivaxxer, hard, in the face.
5) Don't drink urine. Piss off with that.
