Regarding banking regulation, Project 2025 recommends "merg[ing] the FDIC, the OCC, the NCUA, and the Federal Reserve's non-monetary supervisory and regulatory functions" in a footnote, the document says that "deposit insurance undermines ['the incentives of bank depositors ... to monitor bank portfolios']"

No more credit unions. Banks will no longer have guaranteed safety.

It’s all locked in - Project 2025 is drafted in bill form, likely in hundreds or even a thousand plus bills. It’s got the votes in both chambers. It will all go so fast. They might just keep them voting over and over again in the House.

Who knows if Holds will even be a thing in the Senate. Why would they include such a thing in their rules? Why don’t they just go to 1 hour debate on everything? No more filibuster. No more guard rails.
