I want to boost ^^^^^^ because I think with all the new users, it's easy to get buried in a feed. But I don't want to be Spammy McSpamSpam, so I'll try to control myself. 🎸

And there's also the aspect of making people happy. I enjoy it if people enjoy what I'm laying down. If I can turn a bad day into a good day, or a slow day into a fast day, then I feel like I've given something back to the world.

More on my motivation for sharing all my playing. I wanted to leave something behind. I have people in my family that were also musicians, but you'd never know it because they never recorded it.

For the new folks, my style / scene is jamming along to music I like, or write myself. I plug in a guitar, fire up the video cam, and play it. It's all improv and never perfect. Mistakes are "jazz."

Yesterday evening, I sort of fell into a trap of doom scrolling here and got a little out of whack. Thought about it overnight, and this morning, took my own advice and picked up my guitar and played down some blues. It's on the way, for those so inclined.

I’m noticing that with more users and more statuses, that my experience is deteriorating here a little. I’ve been filtering and selectively muting, but I am still struggling.

When I started posting my blues playing, I didn’t know what kind of reaction I’d get. It was outside my metal comfort zone, but I figured it was something I could do solo.
