Just ordered a Jubilee style bracelet for my Orient Kamasu watch. Orients are excellent value but the factory bracelet could be better. So, I’m making it so.

They say natural light is best light, so I ventured outside for a couple of glamour shots of this piece. #watchmaking

My problem is that I also have this one with a black dial. Not sure I need two. Maybe I do.

Dammit. I knew this would happen. I mentioned a while back that I ordered a new dial for this watch (much higher quality). I swapped the dials today and damn if I don’t really like this watch now.

I was planning on offering it up for sale to make room for a new project but I may have to rethink that. #watchmaking

Great time on the Texas State Railroad today. Even my watch got in on it. We talked with the conductor and he was admiring it, and then showed me his and turned out it needs a service. So now, I may just have a watch customer. Bonus #badselfie from the Presidential car where we rode.
