Dammit. I knew this would happen. I mentioned a while back that I ordered a new dial for this watch (much higher quality). I swapped the dials today and damn if I don’t really like this watch now.
I was planning on offering it up for sale to make room for a new project but I may have to rethink that. #watchmaking

@mikeflstfi I have a close friend that's a professional artist. He works in the videogame industry now, but years ago he would make his living selling his paintings. He would really struggle with letting go of some pieces.

Yeah, it's not easy. With the music stuff I do, at least when I sell something I still *have* it.
That is gorgeous! It makes me think of layered bamboo leaves, or a geisha's green fan!

The Cocktail Time line from Seiko is very nice. It's one of the reasons I wanted to put one together. I think it's very elegant.

My problem is that I also have this one with a black dial. Not sure I need two. Maybe I do.
