Someone from Xfinity called this morning to follow up. Told them I'd fixed it myself but could they tell me how to restore default voicemail greeting. She said she'd call me back with a solution in less than an hour. That was two hours ago. Shouldn't something like this be readily available to them?

To provide context, I talked to *9* different Xfinity support personnel in the last week trying to get voicemail working. It had stopped at some point in the last few months. All were in extremely noisy call centers that, combined with their accents & my age made them difficult to understand. The last of the 9 said they couldn't fix the problem. I found solution on random webpage: call forwarding was enabled, unbeknownst to me. Turning it off solved the problem.

Anyone know how to restore default voicemail greeting on xfinity mobile? Their online instructions don’t work and i’m tired of talking to their call center people.

Finally had a clear night (February 3) to capture - what else? - Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF), but the night featured a nearby 96% waxing gibbous moon & very high humidity, which were NOT helpful.

Made some adjustments in Photoshop. Not sure if I like this version better or not.

The Rosette Nebula. First attempt at narrowband imaging through hydrogen alpha, OIII (doubly ionized oxygen) and SII (ionized sodium) filters, using the Hubble Palette (assigning SII to red, Ha to green & OIII to blue). About 2 1/2 hours of data. Really needs a lot more total data and this image is dominated by the hydrogen alpha band, but for an image that I didn't plan and decided to attempt on a whim on my second night out with the Takahashi Epsilon 130D scope, I'm pretty happy with it.

Didn’t quite make it to my goal of 1,000 miles for the year (thanks, holidays and December weather), but it leaves me with an achievable goal for 2023. One positive note - I’ve ridden 2,062 miles since June 2020. Not bad for a senior citizen.

@FiestaBowl
That was a touchdown. 🤦‍♂️
Typical from this SEC crew. Saw this kind of nonsense all season watching LSU games.

My hatred for Microsoft software knows no bounds. 😡

There wasn't quite a conjunction/occultation in the Houston area, but it was a relatively near miss.

Think twice before buying books from . In recent months the quality of books from them has been far less than pristine. The most recent had a bad binding (pages falling out right out of the shipping box) so I asked for replacement. I returned the original but they charged me for the replacement. After a few back & forths with them they now claim I never returned the original.

Argghhh! Trying to pick a Medicare Advantage plan every year is so frustrating. I've been happy with the one I have but is there a better one? Too many choices!
