I have a dear friend who is 82 and lives in an assisted living center in Salt Lake City.
Someone in his facility just tested positive for the virus. My heart is in my throat right now, this dear man is one of the kindest, most intelligent and good humored people I've ever known and now I just want to drive to Utah, pick him up and take him somewhere safe.

it's the usual story. Facebook et al have no ethics, no sense of evidence-based evaluation of content. They only care about (a) volume (b) adverts. If either of those declines, they desperately manouver to get them back up.
This shows what we as consumers can do.
