I'm going to live dangerously, and get a haircut.

How 2020 is that?

Truth is, I was due for a haircut when we went into lockdown this spring. Now we might be going into lockdown again. And the irony is that the risk is far worse now than then.

I called, and they have protocols in place. I have to wait in my car for my turn, and they'll call me. Everybody must wear masks. Nobody waiting inside. Screening for symptoms.

And I can always wear an N95 under my "stylish" cloth mask.

@BlueStateBabe I’ve been cutting my own hair, and it looks awful, but *shrug* who sees me?

@marylia

That's been my self-argument, but

1) I do a lot of Zoom meetings, and ugh. Those self-trimmed bangs are just...ugh...

2) Overriding #1 above, I start to shed profusely when my hair gets this long (midway down my back) and there is now hair EVERYWHERE in my home. Every time I brush, I think I'm going bald - lol!

@BlueStateBabe I’m figuring this is a good time to grow mine out a little.

@marylia

pandemic is a great time to try new hair things. :)

(i've avoided salons like the plague for years, luckily. my hair just reached knee-length. finally!!)

@marylia @BlueStateBabe

it's much the same as most of the lengths before it, luckily :) lends itself well to the pandemic lifestyle, too. hehe
