@th3j35t3r @carbatteryfish Kind of like when somebody puts “definitely not a cop” in their bio. You know they’re not a cop, so go ahead and start criming with them.

@Stonekettle I mean who *wouldn't* want to represent a defendant in a treason case who never pays his attorneys?

@Wolfman Growing up, we used to make fun of, and definitely not trust, anyone who said they needed a semiautomatic to hunt.

@Render “a fucking merry-go-round with heavy-caliber machine guns.” One hell of a description.

@JolieSaboteuse Where and when I grew up, we used to make fun of (and not trust) anyone who insisted they needed a semiautomatic to hunt.

@DJNoneYa Saw that earlier today. He doubled down, then changed the story to say he was concerned with her safety and only “threatened to pull her hair”. Then he modified that statement, then finally settled on the “I got hacked” defense. Perfect example of a violation of the Law of Holes.

@Stonekettle Hell, most of his sycophants would still pay for the “honor”.

@Iskios I’ve had that happen in Chrome. Clear your cache and cookies, and see if that does it.

@GEAUXJayna @th3j35t3r It was bad enough still seeing all the Occupy Democrats clout spam in screenshots after I blocked them. Why would anyone go to a place created exclusively for them to spam and grift?

@Stonekettle And bottles of Trump wine to help them forget their troubles.

@TheresaVermont They do. We’ve developed a lot of functionality in-house, and black box systems have been limiting. Open source is viewed as a way for us to be able to work with existing systems to create solutions. We’re very likely going to be migrating off an “enterprise” CMS onto an open source platform in the near future.

@TheresaVermont It can/should be, but institutions have to be able to support it. My institution has dedicated IT (myself among them). Open source to us means lower software costs -- our internal support is already a fixed cost.
