@Stonekettle well said! I was just talking about having ‘enough’ the other day with my hubby. Had seen a post about it, can’t recall who said it, but where the punchline to some wealthy person was “I have something you’ll never have…enough.”
That made me think. As your post makes me think as well.

@Stonekettle I'm grateful that I can afford to help others from time to time. Not a lot to spare, but I won't go hungry for helping.
@Stonekettle I have more than enough, and along with you, do not understand the inchoate rage of those who also do, as described so eloquently by you.
@Stonekettle My stepdad who was a recovering alcoholic used to say as long as you had a roof over your head, a bed to sleep in and food in the refrigerator, then you were golden. Enough. I don’t have a lot but I try to remain grateful for what I do have.
