Its been deeply challenging and difficult at many times, especially lately with trying to find a new house while dealing with dissociative amnesia walls, but wanting to say these things to remind ourselves that we've done a lot despite the difficulties. Isolation can distort the world and make things seem overwhelming so this is us trying to regain the clarity of where we have been and where we are going โค๏ธ
In the last 2 years of mostly isolation, we've managed to get out of more than one abusive relationship, learned how to set and enforce boundaries, released a comic, made and released 2 albums, 8 EPs and setup releases for another 4, built a website (phdm.co.nz), a radiostation and an online shop. We've recovered after 6 months of being completely physically crippled from a spinal injury and got a diagnosis for adhd. Now we're moving to the other end of the country and in a healthy relationship.

Ever been woken up by a dream thats so intense and viscerally real that your brain makes it real? Had to write down what it was about because its actually a pretty good idea for a story but being 'deaf' in a dream and then waking up unable to hear anything for the better part of a few hours is a trip xD #cosowriting

Just in case...
If you ever post your pain or struggle, and no one replies--especially if you are very new--it is very likely that folks saw you but didn't have a chance to reply before the firehose flowed on.
This is hard to remember. It is. But low response rates do not mean you don't matter or people don't care.
I dearly hope people mostly receive comfort when they need it.
But if there is a miss, it doesn't derive from indifference. Not here.
