@MisterE No, I found one on Amazon. It's a neat cutter - it cuts multiple pills at once, and it has adjustable bars which hold the pills in place and prevent them from crumbling. Nice.

@MisterE I thank you kindly. My biggest accomplishment of the last few weeks was getting a new pill cutter that doesn't crumble my Dilaudid pain pills. I'll continue to play with it over the weekend.

Have a fun and safe weekend yourself, kind sir!

@leejackson Oh, the gods have been good overall. I can't really complain. I just get irritated and say "I" a lot. I need to re-up my thinking of others more.

I wish you relief from your pain situation.

@MisterE Luck for you indeed! I'm glad you're getting your car back. I haven't driven in more than 7 years, thanks to this chronic pain situation I'm in. With all of the opioids I have to take, I'd be an instant DUI the minute I got out on the road. ๐Ÿ˜…

@leejackson That sounds good for you, Lee.

Pretty normal weekend for me. I have been without my car for the last week while it was in the body shop for repairs. I am going to enjoy getting back to simplicity while driving, and ask the driving gods to keep all inattentive drivers away from my rear bumper. Luck to me. *shrug*

@MisterE Recuperation, mainly. Doing an internet grocery shopping run. Letting everything else come as it may.

Any plans on your side?

My recording of the 1984 Houston Nighthawks pit percussion section repertoire performance is now up on Soundcloud! I played bells on our drum & bugle corps' four-person line (bells/xylophone/marimba/vibraphone) and spoke most of the words you'll hear on the recording. Please check it out today!

Saw a nurse practitioner at the cardiologist's office today. I told her about the palpitations I've been having that have been draining my energy. She put me on a two-week remote heart monitor and prescribed a low-dose beta blocker. I've already had to trigger the heart monitor several times since this afternoon. The beta blocker prescription will probably be ready tomorrow.

My fourth album, "Lady Tygress' Suite and Other Commissions," is now up on Soundcloud!

I uploaded it in 96kHz/24-bit format, so you should get the best possible listening experience when streaming from there. After listening, please consider purchasing a copy from Bandcamp!

Here's a song from my 4th album, "Lady Tygress' Suite and Other Commissions," posted on ! Please consider buying a copy of it or any of my other works today!

@dawnyriver

You are correct - the prep is horrendous, especially for someone like me who's had a gastric bypass. Once you're past that, it's all downhill.

@leejackson they are not bad. It is the prep that is the worst part. I have had 3 or 4 already.

@leejackson

Itโ€™s not as bad as you think. No pain. Disgusting liquids to drink but not nearly as icky as it used to be.

Donโ€™t get yourself worked up. Youโ€™ll breeze right through.

Remember the time before IDEs? When you wrote thousands of lines of code in a text editor. And then you'd compile it and get the error "There's a missing semicolon somewhere, but we're not giving you a hint at to where".

@ceorl I feel like James Bond in his later years, going up against his archenemy, the evil Dr. Coldfinger. ๐Ÿ˜œ ๐Ÿ˜œ ๐Ÿ˜œ

@leejackson
Ah yes, that would indicate the full procedure.

Well I totally empathize. Good for you for getting it underway, and I hope they find it totally uninteresting.

Would a thumbs up be in bad taste?
Nah, you've got to laugh at the hard stuff.

๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ˜

@ceorl I'd rather do that, to be certain, but unfortunately I've had polyps in my past, so I really need the colonoscopy done. Thanks anyway.
