@mcfate @th3j35t3r hahahahahahahaha
This made my night
@Anemone I've been watching these groups form in Canada for years. The JCCF is straight up funded by trump and the Koch Brothers, and it's their main legal support. Canada has been vulnerable to this type of social engineering warfare for years and finally it's coming together
The sheer level of downspeak in this article is insane. They speak of the audacity of a lower class thinking they can even simply be seated among the elite, just because seats are available. They try to claim it as if it's almost morally wrong, while not directly stating it, because it's ridiculous.
The classists are out in more force these days than they ought to be. I'm not saying the passengers deserved the perks of the seats - but just to get some sleep is a crime?
Anyone know if that new Shiba Search Engine is any safe or legit? I have a learning disorder and I'm trying to tentatively get into the crypto game as I have a child to worry about now. Apparently the search engine is designed to earn Shiba Inu tokens for the purpose of burning them? No idea if it's safe
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine crap I just realized I'm on the path to being that uncle ๐คฆ๐คฏ
@mcfate I'm a meat cutter out in Canada, I gotta say our margins are razor thin these days ๐ฉ not sure how long the industry will survive actually, especially since I predict a major butcher shortage in coming years (it's a job no young people want to go to school for)
No, Joe, our country is not in revolt ๐ only some guys who want the ability to spread the virus to retail industry workers. It's also a very, very far cry from 50,000. Estimates range from 300-2000 total vehicles expected to show up, with the majority being regular cars.
Mind you, he's reading the Sun, whcih is one of Canada's far right controlled media machines.
@mcfate I doubt we'll ever get that far too. Odds are we will destroy our civilization within 200 years. I'm betting within 100, based on this pandemic and how people respond to being asked to do the smallest things to help prevent it getting worse.
@mcfate I've begun getting curious how the world would react to potential future Orbital Ring, Space Elevator and Dyson Sphere programs. All could dramatically help us but would also be huge changes to our night sky.
Celebrity CEO who lives and dies on a social media platform notorious for bot accounts and invasion of privacy is bothered that other users of said platform are trying to engage with him at a level celebrities CEOs would be briefed on by their security teams before they ever started posting in the first place.
This is why I love counter.social. Shit like that doesn't fly here!

@mushrj do I do that on PC or my Android? Is it PayPal friendly now? How much does it cost?
Sorry for all the questions, I can't see a pro button in the app
@th3j35t3r no, no you're not buddy. I've had this account for a super long time and I'm just terrible at signing in and keeping up with things. I love the atmosphere of this place though.
Actually can I mention, when I used CS on an Android browser, I'd get notifications. Don't seem to get them on the app at all. I'll try to force the permissions manually on my end.
You're great at marketing. You've built something people around the world love.
@th3j35t3r how do we get involved in the movie nights and get to watch? Always sounded fun
I swear this is some social engineering level hacking. They're taking advantage of ignorance to a new level lol

The Guardian: Whistleblower warns baffling illness affects growing number of young adults in Canadian province.

This could be the signs of something new, ominous and potentially terrifying coming out of my country.
@th3j35t3r do we know if CoSo is affected by the weird Microsoft muck up today? I think I remember you saying you built this on Linux but it's been a very long time since reading your stuff on the creation of this beautiful system
I don't know much about this stuff, but apparently 2022 broke several Microsoft services due to a short sighted bad habit of using 32 bit integers for their date program. Lol
Developing story, warning: graphic and upsetting content.
An SUV has plowed through a Christmas parade with all ages present. No word on whether the driver is caught yet.
@AkomoCombine wow after reading about this Wisconsin thing this helped calm me down a bit
Man sacrifices his car to save another driver who was unconscious..
