This is insane.
Like something out of a movie. Some villainous heads of state in India are really trying to play this game. It will not end well.
Not me wondering if my router is one of these π
@MrGoat I've ordered alcohol based perfumes and colognes before from all over. Creed boutique in the USA, paco robanne products from the Middle East, it's never really been an issue before. If they made that part against the rules then the whole trade would grind to a halt
@MrGoat yeah one of the sellers just responded... apparently customs is giving them a hard time. Makes sense...last time I ordered the stuff customs had opened up some and labelled it all a biohazard since they had no idea what it was -_- I still got it, just opened because of that. Ugh
Okay, what the heck is going on?
I love buying these kinds of things, cheap fragrance oils, legal knock offs of big brands (they actually do smell quite similar!), but all of a sudden every single oil seller I come across on Amazon or eBay is saying they don't ship to Canada...what the heck?!? Is there some new law I don't know about? ππ I got one thing I hype up for and it's this crap and I don't know how to set up a PO box relay in the USA lol
I could be wrong, but I don't believe a usb malware could be "permanent". Regardless, this is definitely interesting.

@DJNoneYa I remember an interviewee even saying "there's ways to joke about DV without it being so tasteless and horrible, the jokes just weren't good"
@th3j35t3r @Render I can't be the only one who wants to hear that thing fire
@mcfate it's like ..the fact that he completely acknowledges the antisemitic ads are even running in the first place and makes zero comment as to how that was even possible or acceptable to him or his quality control team is the part that stands out to me. He just blames the mean news outlet for abusing the algorithm. Oh, well. Perhaps he shouldn't have support for those advertisers in the first place? All the outlet really did is being to light that he's letting it happen
@DJNoneYa apparently they were illegally making testing kits. Pretty lucrative for the time frame. But due to the language barrier, the local news companies misrepresented what the company representative was saying and sensationalized it into a media frenzy about biological weapons engineering
Was doing a delivery today, I never do deliveries but the boss asked me to take care of it as soon as my shift started. Was a bit unusual, delivering to a tug boat..but hey, they need groceries too!
Anywho, apparently the picker completely messed up the order, I had to bring it back and redo it, I go back out and they chatted with me for a bit, and told me I should go to the maritime school out here, get the tickets and come work for them. The job pays twice as much... thinking real hard on it
@Render to me this always seemed like a cruel prank concept. Like, so many people are barely making due these days, last thing a senior wants is to worry about water getting in the floorboards causing mold, peeling and distortion...it's just kinda mean spirited by the younger generation
@mcfate isn't this what RCS was supposed to do?
@DavidKMresists that's exactly it! The film "Men Who Stare At Goats" was allowed to be made, based on this, for that exact reason. They tried to make it seem like a big joke....but the more you look into the actual tests and the results...it's unnerving
@Alfred can you draw Bluey saying "hello Poppy!"
My dad...he's the reason why I am against the death penalty.
He was a federal penitentiary guard for almost 40 years. He served on Canada's last death row.
He also drank way too much. He was obsessed with reality prison shows. I can't imagine how much it gets in your head when you start thinking "maybe that one was innocent?" That job absolutely ruins peoples' mental wellbeing if they stay long enough.
Dad, I love you. I wish I told you that more.
Gamer! Canadian! Stupidly energetic!
Yes that's my cat Corusca, yes I gave her a Star Wars name since she was born on May the 4th.
