@killingfloorman Not quite. For instance, with autism , the person has more neurons & synapses in their brain than “normal” people. It’s as if the brain is evolving and trying to create new connections. 😉

@killingfloorman Try to think of it not as “curing,” but teaching to communicate. For every single sentient being, communication is paramount. Quite often, people with autism have a language processing disorder. A is going on 36 yo and still struggles with communication. If we can’t communicate with autistic ppl, we can’t help them understand our world. Read “Thinking in Pictures” by Temple Grandin. Both husband & dtr are autistic. Their world is fascinating but I’m odd Mom out. 😂
