Disturbed's version of The Sound of Silence floors me every time. Goosebumps.
A couple years ago I was talking to my mom about her classroom and she offhandedly mentioned she played it for her students to compare / contrast with the original. As a millennial who was told by her at several points in time to turn down their first couple of albums I was blasting, I was floored! He’s got such a good voice though.
It’s not quite as good, but I also really enjoy Seether’s cover of “Careless Whisper” if you’re into metal groups covering softer songs.

Listening to Seether's cover now. Pretty fun. I like the guitar track contrast. The video with the 80's video games was a nice touch.
