I guess I'm just not important enough to have the gestapo make inquiries.....yet.

@nonayadambidnes
They were acting like a civil couple. No overt affection . But, he's a really odd character. She kept glancing over at me. I wasn't sure how to react. Awkward all around.

@nonayadambidnes
True. But we see him only every couple of years. They live far away. That's also why it was odd to see him in town.

@Ruthat
Interesting point.
But, maybe he's comfortable because he's been doing it for a while.
I'm concerned that if she eventually figures out that we knew he was out with a strange woman she's going to be mad at us.

@AskTheDevil
But, if you were out having dinner with your "cousin" wouldn't you stop by to introduce her? He knows we saw him.
Plus, he's pretty odd

Need advice.
Saw the husband of a friend having dinner with a woman. He saw us. There were other friends in the restaurant, so many people coming over to say hi to us. Not him. He thought we were saying hi at one point, but it was the friend behind him. Awkward.
He later left without acknowledging us

Do we inform his wife?
Was the woman not his girlfriend?
Are we not being good friends by not informing his wife?

Insight:
Those that do not consciously live by clear principles will only consider value the transaction at hand.

Those that do not consciously live by clear principles do not know that there are people that do.

Those that do live by clear principles do not understand those that do not.

You should always default to not categorizing a human being.

Never assign a label.

Once you have established that "object"' you can begin to assign attributes such as 'man', 'tall', 'Hatian' or 'intelligent'.

But, first, start with 'human'.

Ultimately, democracy expects the individual to both understand the consequences of their vote as well as desire the outcome. If the individual cannot comprehend the outcome, what is the point of exercising the vote?

An unavoidable responsibility of the electorate is to accept the consequences of their voting decisions.
Nobody who chooses to vote can claim that they were not informed of the consequences. That is always a prerequisite. That responsibility is embedded in the vote itself.

Oops.
I just found out that I literally brought down a critical system at a large healthcare provider yesterday.

Yes, apparently that is possible.

Insight: Concern yourself with the well being of your community. But, as the scope of your community increases, your ability to have an effect on it diminishes.

Therefore, define your community carefully. Your control of your anxiety depends upon it.
