Well, that's one way to win a war.
And everyone is happy, too!

I hope I get the chance to help him. My wife and I can address many issues with our experience.
@millard_jmm
I agree.
But the American male doesn't.
That's a manifestation of the problem.
I've maintained that if you start defining a person as anything other than a person, you discount their humanity. Man or Woman is an attribute of Human, not the other way around.
@millard_jmm
In the historical sense it is "sudden".
The male identity was always apart from the "female" by what they did and were expected to do. For example: The men, historically, went off to hunt and fight. The women stayed home and raised the kids.
Now this is not a relevant definition. Many men are bothered by this.
You can't propose a solution until you clearly and comprehensively define the problem.
And, I don't think the solution is to right an historical wrong.
The American male is having a serious identity crisis at the moment.
We really need to understand this better.
I suspect a lot of it has to do with women suddenly becoming their equals in just about everything except most professional sports.
Lots of competition - and they are threatened. For millennia men didn't have to concern themselves with that threat. The last 2 generations have had to.
And, at the core of that, is the use of Man/Women where "Human" should be used.

Thanks!

Is that CO2 dust in the crevasses?
And in other news, the Monkeys are loose!

@Museek Pretty plant.
Just keep it 5ft from the edge of the house. When dry, those will ignite easily.
I now believe that we have:
- Good People (ideological, moral and rare)
- Bad People (ideological, conscious of the negative impacts of their intent, and rare)
- Philosophers (System-thinkers, intellectually fearless, and rare)
- Average People (Internally-focused, intuitive thinkers, influenced only by examples, anecdotes and stories and the vast majority.)
Insight:
Climate Change is an abstraction.
Rain and drought are tangible.
Trumpsters do not have a place in their brains to manage abstractions.
The impacts of climate change must be told in story format. That form of information and argument is well supported by all humans. Stories of too much rain and drought and waves crashing into communities is the only method that will change opinions.
@DavidSalo
You also have to decide if you are to get involved in fixing it.
Do you have the skills, resources, willpower, etc.
If not, then decouple.
Save your powder when you really need it.
