Product idea:
An app that tells you how AI will impact your job.
You enter in your data (or it interviews you) and it uses it to assesses the impact of AI on your specific job at your specific point in your career.
Ultimately it will provide guidance on how to adapt your career path to minimize AI's impact.
Would you use it?

@Maude
I'm getting a lot of that in LinkedIn. No sexual, per se, but clearly they have a nefarious intent.
One even was trying to recruit me for a project. Went so far as to start a WhatsApp conversation. Clearly attempting to either do extortion or find a sugar-daddy.
@AskTheDevil
Thanks for the insight.
It was via my thinking about similar people in my life that I began my original thought. I couldn't call them "bad". But, I also don't trust them. I've culled a lot of friends with that assessment. I still keep in touch, but at arms-length.
I believe in business, especially Sales, being a sociopath is an asset. You just don't give a shit about what people think of you, so you get up and do it again after failing for the 1000th time.
@AskTheDevil
That's a downstream topic.
Worth discussing, but still downstream.
My intent is to clarify that if the task at hand is consequential and worth accomplishing, it may also be really hard. Expect it to be hard and you will not be disappointed with the struggle.
Yet, Good is not necessarily easy.
Often, "Good" is hard to discern in the first place.
Currently I am deep in the struggle.
@YouInMyEye
Explain.
It is possible to be a BAD person and not know it.
And, by "bad", I mean prone to making immoral actions and to degrading the progress of your community, the species, or the Earth's ecosystem.
There are a lot of bad people out there.
Hypothesis: The percentage is decreasing.
But, we're becoming more aware of their existence. So, it seems like they are increasing.
@AskTheDevil
We survived.
We just need to clean up all this sulfur on the streets. 😉
Thinking about my childhood a lot lately. Unsure why.
Insight:
While you have control over who you become, you start from a reference point. You can only deviate from that point.
Like a tree that grows around an obstacle, it is still originally planted somewhere.
And, if scarred early on, it carries it onwards.
It might be able to "grow out of the scar", but the scar is still there.
Some scars make you stronger.
Some keep you from reaching your potential because of when they happened
