Fascinating!
I think there is something about "satisfaction" in that experiment.
My current struggle: drug addiction.
No, not with me, but how to unpack why it is "bad". I'm trying to model its impact on a city. Here in San Francisco it's a huge issue.
Community impacts:
Society's degredation?
Government cost?
Economic overhead?
Personal:
Lowered potential in career, relationships and personal goals?
Increase in depression?
General unhappiness?
Thoughts?

Russia is such a horrible country.

We do live garland around a large mirror in our hallway and the fireplace mantel. Fills the house with pine scent.
Very nice.
I bought fake garland on Etsy to put around the living room window. Easier to put up and is far enough away so you can't tell it's fake.
We also do a real tree. But, it's for the ceremony of purchasing it with friends. We wear our ugly Christmas sweaters and take a lot of photos.

"Controversial" is quite a wet-blanket of a word when dealing with those characters.

Thanks for the update.
As I understand it, the Rs have railroad repair crews always on standby to fix destroyed tracks. Probably an unexhaustible resource.
But locomotives are limited.
What if, instead, the strategy is to disable/destroy the locomotives?
