I remember building models of the progression of COVID in the US in early 2020. Everyone was hammering me on how extreme my projections were. They never approached 1M.

What they risk to bring us the news is just heroic.

These traumas really change people.

Being empathetic isn't an easy or effortless action for the observer when the victim becomes ensconced in a belief system you abhor.

So now my birthday party is officially cancelled for this weekend.
I couldn't imagine having a party without my lovely wife. (She's suck in London with COVID)

Not that I'd feel that bad partying without her. Don't get me wrong!

Just that the party is mostly comprised of her friends and they have a track record of bailing at the last minute and leaving me with a lot of expensive food and wine.

So, I'll be opening a very nice bottle of wine and sending out photos of it to them.

Then maybe try to get the shell to explode? Hit the nose? I suspect they have a delayed enabler so they don't explode while being shot.

Well, it would be all about jamming the shell using its own momentum. It's not about creating a plug.
For instance, a wedge, if not blown out, would force the shell against the side of the barrel and is either going to explode or severely damage the barrel.

@Render A friend of mine believes that if a passive material (like nails or epoxy) could be delivered into the barrel of a tank, it would render it useless if a shell were to be fired through it.
