@Dane
I think it is snow or dust.
Too cold for bugs.

@th3j35t3r
I'm guessing that it is not nuclear because it doesn't seem bright enough at the ignition. But, I'm hardly an expert.

@th3j35t3r

The shock wave looks too efficient/structured and large to be anything but an engineered explosive.

"When The Levee Breaks" featuring John Paul Jones and Musicians Around the World:

This video is a great example of technology connecting musicians around the world so they can play one song together and raise money for a good cause.

@Render @th3j35t3r
Incredible!

Videos like this will make invasions and occupations obsolete.

Eventually we will just have to fear what comes from within.

@Render @AkomoCombine
I'd like to see the evidence, myself.

If true, we may be seeing a cultural reaction to Putin's initiative.

Few humans aspire to be evil.

@WeThePeople
I wonder if they have any control of that airspace. It's often shown on current tracking maps to be under Russian control.

@Deweyoxberg
If J allows for 5 poll options I may have added that clarification. 😉

@Deweyoxberg
"Threaten them directly" is more broad than merely making statements.
And, a threat doesn't always have to be overt.

@WeThePeople
Maybe they are pre-positioning them on the perimeter ready to move in when the heavy-weapon activities have run their course.

This is an opportunity to influence those troops to defect. Many probably don't know that this is a kinetic war and not a drill.

@WeThePeople
I suspect tanks are less effective in urban warfare.

Building-by-building clearing requires boots on the ground.

@WeThePeople
The scale of this makes it a little more clear just how much effort and equipment will be required to defend against this force.

Russian-Neutralization Strategy:

- Inform the Russian soldiers of the truth (not a drill, Putin's initiative alone) via pamphlets, media, etc.
- Offer unconditional surrender terms
- Send their names to Moscow as KIA to protect their families
- Deputize the willing into Ukrainian soldiers
- Quick transport for the Unwilling to western Ukraine so they can flee if Ukraine falls

@TK11612
Or it is a pretense for a demonstration of good will.

"Look, Ukraine given offer. They not accept. What can we do?"

If, in the late 1930's, you knew that WW2 was going to happen, and that there were overt supporters of Hitler throughout your country, what would you do?
