Spent most of the day trying to re-build my network with a router I fixed.
No success.
And I didn't learn anything. 😡

I've got a $5 goodwill wrt54g v8 I keep threatening to flash with DDwrt, to go through the exercise and then have something useful but I'm afraid the learning curve versus the benefit curve cross too close to zero. And I'm old. It would just be for drill and the times I started to do it I ran out of time.

I have a pile of those.
My latest attempt was with a Linksys LRT224 Dual WAN Business Gigabit VPN Router.
I like to keep my components separate. Decouple the router from the switch from the DHCP, etc.
What a pain.

After a year on D-Link's help desk, I try to avoid even the smell of routers and ethernet cables as much as possible.
