@LnzyHou $2.79? Wow!
@ByLeslieMonteiro And air-condition the entire ballpark? Yikes.
@ByLeslieMonteiro But they don’t play baseball in the winter, so, on sunny, hot days, the roof, I’m sure, will be open.
@GrazingintheGrass I predict, even if Trump were convicted of a crime worthy of prison time, he won’t spend a day behind bars. He’ll pay a hefty fine, promise never to run for office again, and make a public apology for the crimes he committed. You heard it here first, folks. Of course, if he gets elected president, all bets are off.
It just occurred to me. Why should this classified documents case be complicated? The government deemed the documents classified. Trump took them. What difference does it make what was in those documents (legally)? Why does the defense need to go over all those documents? What? They plan on claiming the documents weren’t classified? The government - that Trump ran for four years - said they were. And he had no right to take them anyway! Aargh!
@thedisasterautist Their good will is long gone, so keeping up the grain exports would have no upside for Putin.
@ByLeslieMonteiro You know as well as I that refitting/replacing aging stadia usually involves a financial arrangement with the city. iLooks like Oakland didn’t want to throw good money after bad. I wonder how popular baseball will be in Vegas during the hot summer. Florida’s teams have the same attendance problem.
@TheresaVermont Are you okay?
House GOPs want a pay raise for themselves w. an increase of 8K per member. Most house members earn 174K annually putting them in the top 10% of U.S. earners. Meanwhile, they are axing education, health, and other essential programs that help the poor.

@LnzyHou I’m going to make twice-baked potatoes with a salad for tonight’s dinner. I’m not waiting either!
@LindaGoodliffe Yes, and don’t give any sops to Romney. He’s as complicit as the other Republican senators in doing nothing about Tuberville.
