@john_b Sadly, we’re not even safe when stopped in traffic at a light. A nitwit scrolling through her cell phone (by her own admission, to me and to the police) ran into my brand new #EV last year. I was free to go after exchanging paperwork but she was given a court date because this was not her first traffic violation.
@john_b This should be required reading for all new drivers and anyone renewing a license. My dad taught me defensive driving skills in the 1970s. The perils on the road today are orders of magnitude greater.
